5 Secrets of Busy Man Fitness: Part II of II

Ok, we are going to get right into this. 5 Secrets of Busy Man Fitness: Part I of II gave you 3 of my time-tested secrets to getting in your workout EVEN IF you have a very tight schedule.

 

Now it's time to cap off the discussion and leave you with some emotional insight that will not only motivate you, but also give you that refreshing feeling of achievement.

 

Before we get started, I'd like to ask you a question.

 

What's it worth to you?

 

What is your ideal physique 2-3 months from now worth to you?

 

It can be done...really. I'm going to show you exactly how to do it, and we are going to start by covering the 5 secrets again just to refresh. Take a quick gander at the list below and refresh prior to covering the last 2 secrets of busy man fitness.

 

 

Can you start to imagine the various ways you can fit at least one 15-20 minute workout into your day?

 

These last two secrets are special because they have the ability to fit seamlessly into your daily routine with little to no extra time required from your day. In fact, you may even find that you can include more than one of my secrets into your day for multiple workouts and faster results!

 

 

4. make your commute active


Making your daily commute active is one of the easiest ways to fit your workout in.

 

Depending on the distance you live from your workplace, this solution can actually be extremely valuable to the fit businessman. If you live within biking distance of your workplace and have a safe route planned out, I highly suggest biking to your workplace.

 

I know several men who leave for work very early in the A.M. to beat traffic and bike all the way to work. They arrive at work with an hour to spare and use that time to grab a healthy breakfast while the catch up on some newspaper reading. Not surprisingly, these men are constantly getting promoted at their jobs because they are ALWAYS the first ones in their office.

 

Another example of a healthy way to workout during your commute came from one of my clients. His workplace didn't have a gym, but he worked on the 14th floor of an office building. When he was done with work he would throw on some tennis shoes and workout clothes and run all 14 floors of stairs...THREE TIMES! He would cap off the workout with push ups in the stairwell and pull ups on the door frames of the fire exits! THAT'S HARDCORE!

 

Point is, you are only limited by your imagination with this one. Think of all the opportunities you have in your day of travel to make your commute active. Walking, running, jumping, a random set of push ups...these can all have tremendous benefit to your health and physique and require little-to-no extra time allowance to give you results.

 

This secret is perfect for the person who lives within a few miles of their workplace and has the desire to fit their workouts seamlessly into their day. Of coarse, having a shower and gym within close proximity of your workplace will make your efforts easier because you won't have to time your workouts at the end of the day to avoid sweating.

 

Remember, even the smallest amount of consistent activity is going to boost your metabolism and give you results. Even 4-5 15 minutes workouts per week can change your physique in a small amount of time.

 

 

5. exercise with your kids


Some of you out there may feel like your current responsibilities will keep you from ever having time to workout. I'm here to tell you that EVERYONE has time to workout.

 

If you are in charge of the kids for a day, why not take them out to a playground to burn some energy off? I laugh when I see parents just sitting and talking or reading a newspaper while their kids are at play. Why not get active WITH your kids?

 

You see, we need to use our desire to get fit as a bonding and teaching experience for both ourselves and our children. The impact to your children's future efforts towards health and fitness is tremendously positive when you use this approach.

 

This is YOUR opportunity to teach your children by showing them that you, yourself, take pride in your health and physique and they will surely follow your examples.

 

Also, the best way to learn any subject is by teaching it. It's no different when it comes to fitness. Teaching your children to be fit will force you to at least put a small amount of time into researching more about health and fitness. You will soon find that your knowledge will increase at a rapid rate and this will continually feed back into your motivation to keep your fitness program going strong.

 

Staying healthy and fit for your children should be a very strong motivator for any family guy. However, including your children in your fitness activities will make that motivation stronger and stronger every day because you will realize just how dependent your children are on your health and vitality.

 

So, there you have it. The next time you bring your children to the playground...use the monkey-bars. Jump around with them! I truly believe that you can experience great gains in your fitness by including your children into your workouts. I'd also like to stress the fact that outdoor workouts are one of the fastest ways to relieve stress.

 

 

Listen, you can experience great results in minimal time by using my 5 secrets. However, these 5 secrets will only work if you actually use them. There is no secret pill that will help you take action with busy man fitness. The only option you have as a busy man is to regularly and aggressively take daily steps toward your fitness goals. Bottom line, if you want to attain that ideal physique you desire, you need to make fitness a lifestyle.

 

These 5 secrets basically force fitness into your lifestyle and I am confident that once you make an honest effort to employ them in your daily routine that you may even find yourself doing more than one workout per day!

 

That's perfectly fine since you will be making quicker progress towards your goals with every workout. It's time to stop the excuses. It's time to make the decision. Now get on the floor and give me 10 push ups...
